Betsen turns down move to Tigers
Serge Betsen
Betsen admitted he was tempted by a move to England rugby
French star Serge Betsen has opted not to join Leicester, preferring to sign a new contract with Biarritz.

"I want to finish my career here," said the 31-year-old flanker, capped 48 times by his country.

Betsen had talks with the Tigers in March and admitted he was tempted by a new challenge, but he chose to agree a three-year deal with Biarritz.

Leicester are thought to be on the verge of signing promising Leinster flanker Shane Jennings.

The Tigers are keen to boost their options in that position, with Lewis Moody yet to agree a new deal and Neil Back retiring at the end of the season.
