Munster prop Marcus Horan and Ospreys wing Richard Mustoe will face a discipinary panel after a review of complaints from last Sunday's game. An alleged stamp by Mustoe will be considered and alleged racial abuse by Horan against Elvis Seveali'i.
Horan was also cited for physically clashing with Mustoe and Seveali'i, but those complaints have been thrown out.
"We totally refute the allegation of racial abuse and believe Marcus has no case to answer," said Munster.
"We are disappointed the Ospreys lodged their complaint only after we reported Mustoe over an incident with Horan."
Mustoe's citing was for an apparent stamp on Horan's head that forced the Ireland prop to leave the field for stitches to a nasty gash.
An independent disciplinary panel will now be convened and the hearing will be held as soon as is practicable
''We would hope that this hearing will be heard as expeditiously as possible,'' said Munster PRO Pat Geraghty.
''The sooner it is heard and Marcus is exonerated the better from his point of view and from our point of view.''
