Richards brought seven trophies to Leicester |
Former Leicester director of rugby Dean Richards will take over as coach of French side Grenoble next season. Richards will succeed Jacques Delmas, who has been sacked after Grenoble finished third from bottom of the French championship this year.
"They didn't even bother telling me," said Delmas. President Alain Etievent blamed a "difference of philosophy".
Richards left the Tigers in February after winning four league titles and two Heineken Cups in seven years.
But Leicester's fall from those heady heights in the past two years saw a parting of the ways after Richards' 23 years at the club as a player and coach.
The former England number eight will take over a side which lost their final match of the season 81-17 to Pau.
