Player deal agreed
England during a training squad on their 2004 summer tour
The programme is aimed at protecting England's best players
England Rugby Ltd have agreed the elite player squad programme (EPS) for the country's best players.

The 60 EPS players will be given their own individually-agreed playing, training and rest programmes.

The programmes will be agreed by the England coaches, led by Sir Clive Woodward, and the Zurich Premiership directors of rugby.

The programme will be centrally managed by Rugby Football Union performance director Chris Spice.
