Sailor commits to union
Australian wing Wendell Sailor
Sailor's power is key to Jones' ambitions
Australia wing Wendell Sailor says he has no intention of activating a clause in his contract that allows him to return to rugby league now the World Cup is over.

The 29-year-old insists he will play for the Queensland Reds Super 12 team until 2005 before finishing with two seasons in Japan.

Sailor played for the Wallabies in their 20-17 extra-time defeat by England in the World Cup final last Saturday.

He said he had already received some interest from Japanese clubs.

"We've got a couple of little sniffs, little bites, but nothing major. I'll just concentrate on the Reds for two more years."

Sailor, who switched from rugby league to union in 2001, said the change of codes had lived up to his expectations.

"It's been a great couple of months and I've been really happy that I switched, it's well worthwhile."
