Ulster will play Leinster Lions at Ravenhill in the quarter-finals of the Celtic Cup on 3 October.
On the same evening, Scarlets will face Connacht at Stradey Park while Glasgow host Munster.
In the final tie the following day, Edinburgh are at home in Meadowbank to the Blues.
Ulster, who along with Edinburgh, Munster, and the Blues received first-round byes, will relish the all-Irish provincial battle.
Although Leinster have been in the ascendancy recently, the last time the two sides met, Ulster won 17-13.
Leinster, though, will be without 10 internationals who will be duty in the World Cup while Ulster will have five absentees.
Leinster, even with a reserve side, got over their first round hurdle on Friday with a 35-21 victory over the Ospreys.
Meanwhile, the Scarlets stormed through to the last eight following their 40-6 victory over the Dragons on Saturday.
On present form, the Scarlets will be favourites to take the trophy in its inaugural season, although they will find Connacht a tough nut to crack.
Connacht came back to defeat Borders 26-21 at Netherdale on Friday night.
Munster, who will have at least 12 players on duty in Australia, will find a confident Glasgow lying in wait following their excellent 19-9 victory over the Warriors.
