Celtic Warriors recorded a second successive Celtic League win of the season to deny last season's Heineken Cup finalists Leinster at Sardis Road. Wing Gareth Wyatt scored the crucial try deep into injury-time to give the Welsh side the victory over the former Celtic League champions in a dour contest dominated by the referee Iain Ramage.
Replacement hooker Mefin Davies gave the Warriors the lead mid-way through the second half with a try after Leinster wing Brendan Burke scored the game's first touchdown at the start of the second half.
But the game was dominated by the boots of Wales and Lions legend Neil Jenkins and Leinster scrum half Brian O'Meara.
Jenkins put 16 of his side's points between the posts while O'Meara's five penalties and a conversion made up the bulk of the visitors' tally.
A positive note for the Warriors and Wales coach Steve Hansen was seeing Kevin Morgan come through his first real test unscathed after a six-month lay-off.
The Wales full-back was a surprise inclusion in Hansen's 30-man World Cup squad last week, but he played the full 80 minutes to end doubts over his fitness.
