Dunning has apologised for his actions |
Two New South Wales Waratahs forwards face misconduct charges following reports they were involved in a fight outside a Sydney night club after their team's failure to reach the Super 12 semi-finals. Prop Matt Dunning and backrower Des Tuivaii will appear in front of a disciplinary committee on 10 June.
Dunning told an Australian newspaper he broke Tuiavii's nose when the pair began fighting following a late-night drinking binge after NSW were knocked out of the Super 12.
Meanwhile, Australia centre Nathan Grey will stay with the Waratahs after the World Cup rather than move to Europe.
Grey has signed a two-year extension to his deal with the Sydney-based outfit and said he has unfinished business with NSW.
"Winning the Super 12 has been my goal ever since I joined the Waratahs and it's something that I believe we can achieve," said Grey.
The Waratahs play Samoa in Sydney next month but Grey is likely to miss the match because of international duties.
