![]() | Wednesday, 1 May, 2002, 18:52 GMT 19:52 UK Sevens draw revealed ![]() England won the Plate final at the World Sevens England have been drawn against Samoa, Canada and Spain in the group stages of this month's Emirates Airline London Sevens at Twickenham. The game against Samoa will take place on 24 May, the opening day of the tournament. Immediately prior to that game, Pool A opponents New Zealand and Australia will face each other. "All the groups will be very tough at Twickenham, and we will have to work hard to progress to the quarter-finals," said England Sevens manager Joe Lydon. "We had around 10,000 at the event last year, and we're confident that number will be left far behind by what we expect to be a very supportive crowd.
