Harris to make quick-fire debut
Iestyn Harris with Dai Young and Graham Henry during Monday's Wales training session
Harris still has much to learn according to Graham Henry
Wales v Argentina, Saturday, 10 November, at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff (kick-off 1400 GMT)

Iestyn Harris will make his Wales debut on Saturday after playing just 200 minutes of rugby union.

The former Great Britain rugby league star has made such a big impression since changing codes that Wales coach Graham Henry has given him the nod to face Argentina at the Millennium Stadium.

Said Henry: "He's a run running fly-half which means the defence has to concentrate on him as well.

"He attracts defenders which opens up holes elsewhere. And he's got vision that a lot of other players haven't got."

Rob Howley will partner Harris at half-back
Henry expects Rob Howley to guide Harris through
Harris' inclusion is one of eight changes - one positional - from the side beaten heavily by Ireland in October.

"We had 12 players not available for the Ireland Test," added Henry. "Now a lot of those guys have become available."

The return of Scott Quinnell, Gareth Thomas and Darren Morris is a particular boost, according to Henry.

Harris, 25, has only played two and a half games for Cardiff since his code-changing 1.5m move from Leeds Rhinos, but replaces Llanelli's Stephen Jones at fly-half.

Jones switches to inside centre alongside Bridgend's Gareth Thomas, who played on the wing against Ireland.

Rhys Williams comes in on the right wing while another rugby league convert, Anthony Sullivan will start on the left after Neath's Shane Williams failed a fitness test on a knee injury.

Up front, Cardiff's Craig Quinnell and Bath's Gavin Thomas have been rewarded for good early season form, but Swansea flanker Geraint Lewis will miss the autumn internationals after sustaining a knee injury against Biarritz.

The elder Quinnell, Scott, comes back at no8, while British Lions prop Darren Morris takes over from Iestyn Thomas in the front row.
