But any plans the 25-year-old winger had to take a break from international rugby have gone on hold.
But he has been informed that he could be called up for Australia's tour of Canada and Europe in November. Wallaby coach Eddie Jones said: "The IRB's [International Rugby Board's] directive is that Biarritz must free him to play. "If he is the best left winger Australia has, he'll be selected." Roff, who has won 67 Test caps, has played a big part in his nation's recent success, scoring vital tries during a hard-fought series victory against the Lions in July. |
