Salter arrived at Bristol as a player in 2004
Bristol academy coach and former captain Matt Salter will leave the club at the end of the season.
The 34-year-old, who made 187 appearances for Bristol during his playing career, joined the backroom staff in 2009.
The former flanker said: "During my time with Bristol as a player and coach, we have had some major successes and some difficult times.
"But that makes you stronger, it's what makes you fight for Bristol Rugby."
Salter continued: "To have an opportunity to coach such a talented group of young players is also of great satisfaction and hopefully I'll leave the Academy in a strong position for somebody to take over."
