Ntamack's three hour ordeal
Emile Ntamack
Ntamack did not compete in this year's Six Nations
French international Emile Ntamack is recovering from three hours of surgery after being injured in a weekend match.

France's utility back suffered multiple fractures in the nose and eye areas while playing for Toulouse against Montferrand in a league match last Saturday.

The French Rugby Federation (FFR) said that Ntamack underwent "long and painful" surgery at the Clinique de l'Union in Toulouse on Wednesday.

The pacy star has been plagued by various injuries this season and missed France's Six Nations campaign.

The FFR said doctors believed that the injuries are not career threatening.
