Wigan second rower Gareth Hock has been ruled out of action for up to six weeks with a broken thumb. The 24-year-old Great Britain international picked up the injury during the 20-19 victory at Huddersfield on Saturday. "Gaz has been brilliant so far this season," team-mate Phil Bailey told the club website. "When we've been on the back foot he's stepped up and created a break for someone. We'll certainly miss him." Hock will now miss the local derby against St Helens on Good Friday.
