Wigan have signed Bradford stand-off Mark Flanagan on a two-year contract. The 18-year-old goalkicker is an England academy international and recently took part in the matches against Australian Schoolboys.
Flanagan joined the Bulls from Saddleworth Rangers as a 16-year-old and his father Terry won four Great Britain caps between 1983 and 1984.
"Mark is a player I know well from his academy performances at Bradford," said Wigan head coach Brian Noble.
"He is only a young man and will be looking to work his way through from our under-21 squad."
Wigan have agreed to pay Bradford 10,900 in compensation for the loss of Flanagan.
