Wigan have signed 23-year-old Wests Tigers winger Pat Richards for the 2006 and 2007 Super League seasons. "Pat is the ideal player for the modern game. He fields high balls well and has a special and powerful kicking game," said Wigan head coach Ian Millward.
"In keeping with the modern game he gives us cover for several positions.
"I had three enquiries from Super League clubs but I'm sure Wigan is the club for me. They're strenghthening well for next year," added Richards.
