Wigan winger Brian Carney will make his latest comeback from injury in Friday's engage Super League clash with Widnes. The Great Britain international has been plagued by problems in the last 18 months, breaking his ankle and suffering knee ligament damage.
"It's good to get him back in the side because he is so enthusiastic," said Warriors coach Denis Betts.
Wigan are looking to end a run of three straight league defeats and have not lost four on the trot since 1984.
Betts admits his side are desperate for a victory but says his players are not performing too badly.
"It's a big game for us," he said. "I'm a little frustrated because we are doing a lot of things well but we keep dropping away at certain stages in matches."
