Wigan winger Brian Carney faces six weeks on the sidelines after damaging knee ligaments against Leigh. It is the latest setback for the Great Britain international, who was making his comeback from an ankle problem when he limped off against the Centurions.
"Our luck just seems to worsen week-in, week-out but it is just one of those things," said coach Denis Betts.
"He must have done something wrong in a previous life, but it is just the way we are going at the moment."
