Carney set to return for Warriors
Brian Carney
Brian Carney's last match was for GB in the Tri-Nations last November
Great Britain winger Brian Carney has been cleared to make his comeback from injury for Wigan in Friday's Super League match against Leigh.

The Irishman has missed all five of Wigan's league matches this season after complications with a metal plate inserted in his ankle 12 months ago.

"Brian has been cleared to play and is therefore in the squad," said Wigan coach Dennis Betts.

"He has worked very hard and is keen to play," Betts added.

Wigan are also boosted by the return of second row forward Harrison Hansen, who has missed the last three matches with a knee injury.
