Radlinski's contract finishes at the end of next season |
Wigan chairman Maurice Lindsay says he does not know if Kris Radlinski is poised for a move to rugby union. Speculation suggests the full-back, 29, is a target for the English Rugby Football Union as they continue their preparations for the 2007 World Cup.
"We are all in the dark," Lindsay told BBC Sport. "We have had no approach from the RFU or any rugby union club.
"I know they have always had admiration for Kris and it is not the first time this story has appeared."
Lindsay admitted it would be hard for the Warriors to keep hold of Radlinski should an offer come from the RFU.
"I don't think a rugby union career has ever crossed his mind," said Lindsay.
"But with a World Cup coming up and the riches that are dangled before these players, who knows? We'll have to wait and see."
Skipper Radlinski's current contract with Wigan finishes at the end of next season.
The Warriors have already lost one influential player in Farrell, who switched codes back in March.
