Anderson has won 13 caps for New Zealand |
Warrington are to reunite new signing Vinnie Anderson with younger brother Louis next season. New Zealand Warriors loose forward Louis will leave the club at the end of the season to move to Warrington alongside his brother.
The 21-year-old has agreed a two-year deal at the Wolves.
"I was keen to play alongside Vinnie. We're a tight family and it's probably the last chance I'll have to play in the same team as him," said Anderson.
"It's really important to me. We had a year together at the Warriors in 2004 and we were also team-mates in the Kiwis that year."
Louis Anderson has won 13 caps for New Zealand, while Vinnie has earned six.
Anderson, who has played 57 times for the Auckland club since his debut in 2004, said he also wanted to make a decision ahead of the 2007 NRL season.
"Because I'm off contract this year I didn't want to be distracted about this during the NRL season," he said.
"By making an announcement now it's out of the way and I can concentrate on making sure I have the best season I can possibly have for the Warriors."
Vinnie Anderson moved to Warrington in the close season after leaving St Helens.
