Warrington forward Mike Wainwright has signed a 12-month extension to his contract that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2006 season. The 30-year-old back-rower, who is in his second spell with the club, was voted player of the season in 2004.
"I am happy with my form this season and I am really enjoying my rugby," said the former Woolston player.
"Mike's record this season of 13 games playing the full 80 minutes warrants special credit," said boss Paul Cullen.
