Brough chose to play for Scotland over England (Getty) |
Wakefield Trinity Wildcats' Danny Brough has been named as Scotland captain for the 2008 World Cup. The scrum-half qualifies for Scotland through his Glasgow-born grandfather. "He's stayed loyal to Scotland for several years, not just as the World Cup approaches," said Wildcats head coach John Kear. "I believe Steve McCormack has made the right decision in rewarding Danny's loyalty and giving a natural leader the captain's arm-band."
