Super League side Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have confirmed the signings of Jason Golden from Leeds Rhinos and Matt Blaymire from York City Knights. Second-row forward Golden, 22, has been on loan with the Knights this season.
Blaymire, who can play at full-back or on the wing, came through the ranks at Wakefield before spending a year in Australia with Coogee Dolphins.
He joined the Knights on his return and has been one of their most consistent performers for the last two seasons.
Wildcats head coach John Kear said: "Jason and Matty are two quality young English players.
"They both have great talent which I have seen progress over a period of time and I am looking forward to seeing them step up to the next level."
