Evans is a versatile player |
Wakefield have signed Huddersfield Giants centre James Evans on loan until the end of the season. The 27-year-old former Canberra Raider, who can also play stand-off or second row, will not be eligible to play in Sunday's game between the two sides.
Wildcats coach Tony Smith described the Australian as "a quality addition to the squad".
"He will provide cover and competition for a number of places, and I am really pleased to have him on board."
Evans will be available for all of Wakefield's remaining fixtures starting with Wildcats v Bradford on 21 July.
