Wakefield have completed the signing of centre Ryan Atkins from Super League rivals Bradford on a month's loan. The 20-year-old, who made his Bulls debut against Featherstone in last year's Challenge Cup, has been training with the Wildcats since Monday.
"Ryan is a great young prospect and brings in extra cover for us in the backs," said Wildcats coach Tony Smith.
"He is an explosive player who has all the qualities to become a future star of the game."
Wakefield have been looking for cover in the centres after learning that Kevin Henderson will be out for several months after injuring his knee in the recent Challenge Cup tie against Warrington.
