Wakefield's Fijian winger Semi Tadulala has signed a new two-year deal to stay with the Wildcats until the end of the 2007 season. Tadulala has scored 20 tries in 51 appearances since he joined the club.
"Semi has been our most consistent performer and has been playing really well," said Wakefield coach Tony Smith.
Meanwhile, a knee injury means the Wildcats will be without goalkicking stand-off Jamie Rooney for Friday's Super League match at Wigan.
