Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have signed utility forward Ned Catic from Sydney Roosters on a two-year contract. The 27-year-old Australian, who can play prop or second row, fills the last quota place, with half-backs Sam Obst and Ben Jeffries filling the other two.
"We are delighted to have signed a player of Ned's experience and quality," said coach Tony Smith.
"He is exactly the sort of player we have been looking for to complete the picture for 2006."
