Wakefield have confirmed the signing of versatile New Zealand international Monty Betham on a two-year contract. The 27-year-old Samoan, who will not count on the overseas quota, can play at loose forward, second row or hooker.
"We identified him early on as someone who could be a hugely influential player for us," said Wakefield chief executive Diane Rogerson.
Coach Tony Smith added: "He is a no nonsense competitor who will bring great experience and leadership."
