Meli has scored 26 tries in his Saints career |
Winger Francis Meli has signed a new deal that will keep him at Super League champion St Helens until 2010. The former New Zealand Test player has scored 26 tries in 46 appearances for Saints since joining the club.
"We are naturally delighted Francis has committed his future to the club," said Saints chairman Eamonn McManus.
"He has formed a great partnership with fellow Kiwi Willie Talau which is feared across the competition and has played a key role in our success."
Meli, who has won 14 caps for his country, made his Saints debut at the start of the 2006 season after being signed from New Zealand Warriors to replace Darren Albert.
