Sculthorpe fired up for new year
Paul Sculthorpe
Sculthorpe has missed the last two Tri-Nations tournaments
St Helens captain Paul Sculthorpe says he is hungrier than ever as he seeks a return to action at the start of next season after a series of knee injuries.

In September, the 29-year-old was ruled out for six months with the latest in a long series of knee problems and missed the Tri-Nations for a second time.

"I've had a stop-start 18 months but hopefully it's cured and I'll be back for the first game," he said.

"Having not played much has refreshed me. My appetite's never been as high."
