St Helens have been boosted by the news that Australian winger Darren Albert has signed a new two-year contract. The 29-year-old star has been a massive hit since joining the Saints from National Rugby League side Newcastle at the start of the 2002 season.
"I've really enjoyed my time here and am looking forward to continuing playing well, scoring tries and challenging for honours," said Albert.
Albert has scored 79 tries in 113 appearances for St Helens.
