Salford have been granted permission for their proposed new 130m 20,000-seater stadium at Barton. The club's proposals to relocate to a brownfield site near the M60 at Barton were considered by a public inquiry which ended last month.
Reds chairman John Wilkinson will make an announcement revealing details of the development on Friday.
Salford's dilapidated current ground, The Willows, has been their home for 105 years.
The club attracts average crowds of 4,500 but hope to reinvent themselves with their new arena.
The site chosen for development will also feature a hotel, restaurants and a retail park if given the go-ahead.
