Harlequins coach Brian McDermott rules out Bradford
Quins coach Brian McDermott signed a new three-year deal in June 2008
Harlequins coach Brian McDermott insists that he is not in the running to become Bradford Bulls' new boss.
Ex-Bradford player McDermott has been linked with Steve McNamara's job when the Bulls coach leaves in October to take on his England role full-time.
But McDermott told BBC London 94.9: "The reality is that I'm contracted to Quins and I'm not going to Bradford.
"While I'm here, I'll give the club everything and hopefully enthuse the players to do as much."
The 40-year-old added: "I'm contracted to Quins and, unless something dramatic happens, that won't change."
McDermott played more than 250 times for the Bulls in a nine-year career before moving into coaching.
He worked on the staff at Huddersfield and Leeds before moving to The Stoop as assistant coach.
The former Royal Marine took over as Quins head coach from Tony Rea four years ago.
Speculation has also linked departing St Helens coach Mick Potter to the Bradford job but the Australian is understood to be interested in a job in his homeland.
