Penny has scored 26 tries in 40 appearances for Warrington
New loan signing Kevin Penny believes Harlequins RL are more than capable of lifting themselves off the bottom of the Super League table.
Penny, 22, will spend a month in London having not made an appearance for home club Warrington in 2010.
He told the BBC's London Rugby League programme: "Every team has a blip and I think that is what has been happening at Quins."
"I also believe the good times are just around the corner."
Penny, one of the fastest wingers in the game, could make his Quins debut against St Helens on Saturday. He is keen to prove his worth both to Quins coach Brian McDermott and Warrington coach Tony Smith, but accepts he will have to get to grips with the London set-up quickly.
"Its a massive opportunity for me to get myself back into Super League and get my career back on track, so it's vitally important I fit in very quickly with the club and the direction that they're trying to head in.
"I just want to come and contribute as best as possible to this team, and try and fit in to what they're trying to do and where they're trying to go as a club."
Harlequins have only won one game this season, and were heavily beaten by Hull KR at their Twickenham Stoop home on Easter Monday. But having spent only a day with selected Quins players, Penny is impressed with the spirit in the camp.
"You wouldn't think if you'd just met the lads that they are where they are in the league at the moment," he said. "It seems to be bringing them closer together and making them stronger as a team, and as people. They seem like a real close bunch, a good set of lads and I'm looking forward to working with them.
"Brian McDermott is a very proud person. He's working hard to build a bigger and better team and move forward and get out of the losing streak [that they're on] at the minute.
Penny is the second player Quins have taken on loan this season, following Kyle Bibb from Wakefield.
