Harlequins have signed back-row forward Luke Williamson on a two-year deal.

The 30-year-old Australian was released from his contract at Manly Sea Eagles, in his home country, so he could make the move to London.

Head coach Brian McDermott told the club's website: "We are very pleased and excited about adding Luke's name to our squad for next year."

Williams added: "I am proud to be joining Harlequins and look forward to competing at the highest level."
