 McCarthy-Scarsbrook is back in action after a three-month lay-off |
Harlequins have lost five players to suspension following their ill-tempered Super League clash with Catalans. Prop forward Louis McCarthy-Scarsbrook has had an initial three-match ban reduced to two on appeal, after being sent off for punching. Rikki Sheriffe, David Howell and Michael Worrincy were also found guilty of punching by the Rugby Football League and received one-match bans. Centre Tony Clubb was banned for one game for a careless high tackle. Dragons stand-off Adam Mogg, who was also sent off, was handed a one-match ban after being found guilty of punching during the fracas, which flared up in the dying moments of the game at the Gilbert Brutus Stadium. It means the Australian stand-off will miss the third-placed Catalans' eagerly-awaited clash with champions Leeds on Saturday. Quins face Castleford at the Twickenham Stoop on Sunday.
