Orr put in some strong displays in the latter part of the season |
Harlequins have signed Wigan stand-off Danny Orr on a three-year deal. The former Castleford ace joined Wigan from the Tigers on a four-year deal in 2004 but has opted to move to London.
"It's an exciting club and I have always wanted to play at a club where I know I am a valued team member," said the 28-year-old Orr.
Coach Brian McDermott added: "Danny showed the type of form towards the end of last year which made him one of Super League's most dangerous players."
Orr becomes the fourth British player to head for London.
He joins former Warriors team-mate Chris Melling in the capital as well as forwards Jonathon Grayshon and David Tootill.
Quins have also signed stand-off Scott Hill, hooker or half-back Julian Rinaldi and second-row forward Sione Faumuina.
During his time at the Jungle, Orr played a leading role for Yorkshire and also for England and Great Britain against New Zealand in 2002.
