Harlequins have recruited Bill Peden to their coaching staff for next season. The Australian, 36, is no stranger to London, having played for the Broncos in 2003, the year they made the Super League play-offs for the first time.
Peden is currently part of the backroom team at NRL side Newcastle Knights, the side he won two Grand Finals with.
"He's been making waves with Newcastle on a performance front and I know he was a lot of respect from his players," said Quins head coach Brian McDermott.
Peden, who has signed a three-year deal, added: "I'm delighted to be returning to a club which holds so many fond memories. "We will have some exciting challenges ahead of us."
