Tony Rea has denied speculation that North Queensland Cowboys number two Kelly Egan is set to replace him as London Broncos coach. "Why this rumour has come around I do not know," said Rea after watching the Broncos end their run of seven straight defeats with a 34-18 win over Salford.
"I played with Kelly in the 1980s but I haven't spoken to him in five years.
"On the life of everybody in my squad there's nothing in it - emphatically no. I cannot make it any clearer."
