Leeds Rhinos urged to build on win by Francis Cummings
Cummings is in his fourth year as a coach for the Rhinos first team
Leeds Rhinos must build on their win at Warrington Wolves, according to assistant coach Francis Cummins.
The Rhinos won 37-30 at the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Sunday, and Cummins believes it could prove to be a defining moment in the club's season.
"We need to put a run together now, you can almost see the finish line. I think we need to finish strongly," he said.
The result leaves Leeds in fifth place in the Super League table, nine points behind leaders Wigan.
The Rhinos' next game is at home against third-placed St Helens.
Cummins told BBC Radio Leeds: "Effort-wise it was great. We knew we had to have that to beat Warrington. We could have made it a lot easier by doing what we planned.
"You need a good start and a try to get the game going in our favour. Once you get the momentum you can start getting more field possession. It's a cycle."
