Ablett wins new deal with Rhinos
Leeds Rhinos
Leeds Rhinos have signed up their entire 2007 squad for next season
Leeds forward Carl Ablett has been handed a new 12-month contract by the newly-crowned Super League champions.

Ablett, 21, played the last seven matches of the season, culminating in the Grand Final victory over St Helens.

The deal ensures the Rhinos now have their entire 2007 squad signed up for next season.

"This is an acknowledgement of Carl's progress," said chief executive Gary Hetherington. "He got an opportunity and took it with both hands."

Ablett has undergone shoulder surgery since the Grand Final but is expected to be available for the Boxing Day friendly with Wakefield.
