Triumphant Rhinos coach Tony Smith warned his Grand Final contenders they have yet to see the best of his side, following the 42-14 win over London. Smith watched his side run in eight tries against London Broncos to claim the League Leaders Trophy.
"It was a special night for the fans," he said. "They really enjoyed their night and they made it very special
"The reception was overwhelming. If that's what it means to Leeds fans it makes you proud to be part of them."
Leeds now play Bradford in two week's time in the first play-off match and Smith admitted: "There's more pressure on in the next part but I really feel there's more to come out of this young team.
"They are still learning and still improving and I think they will continue to get better in these next games.
"We will make the most of the time between now and Bradford. We can do some hard work and then freshen up ready for the game. We've not picked up any major injuries so we'll have a fresh squad ready to go."
Leeds' first title in 32 years has finally shaken off the nearly-man image.
"These guys have great self belief and over the season they have shown they are the most consistent team in the league and now we can look forward to the next part," Smith added.
London coach Tony Rea was disappointed with the 42-14 scoreline but pleased with the contribution his side had made.
He said: "Towards the end of the game we were running out of physical impact. I thought we held them very well until then.
"We've produced enough this season to build on in the future.
"The club has shown its character again, we've played some quality football and some young men have grown up this season and will be a lot better for it next year."
