Hull Kingston Rovers chairman Neil Hudgell will become the club's chief executive, following the resignation of Paul Blanchard.

Blanchard quit to take a role closer to his home and the Robins have re-organised their management.

Mike Smith has joined the club as commercial manager and Neil Armitage has become general manager.

Hudgell said: "The board is taking a more direct involvement and the new management structure reflects that."
