Hull KR coach happy with Cup draw

Hull KR coach Justin Morgan is delighted with the draw

Hull Kingston Rovers coach Justin Morgan reckons his side have a good chance of getting past St Helens to reach the Challenge Cup semi-finals.

The Robins have been drawn at home to the holders at Craven Park on the weekend of 31 May/1 June.

And Morgan told BBC Radio Humberside: "We're at home. That is what we wanted, we're excited and we've played St Helens already at Craven Park and won.

"At this point in the competition you have to beat the good teams."

The Robins were beaten 50-0 in the semi-final by Saints two years ago. But they were a National League One side then. And Morgan reckons that they have come a long way since that day at Huddersfield.

Our boys certainly enjoy playing at Craven Park and we've put in good performances there all year

Hull KR coach Justin Morgan
"I think we've evolved a great deal since that day, " he said. "And we'll give it a really good shake."

The Red and Whites coach believes being drawn at home could be crucial to his side's chances.

"I think it's a huge advantage, especially with our fans," he said. "They'll give us the support we need.

"Our boys certainly enjoy playing at Craven Park and we've put in good performances there all year."
