Liam Watts will make his debut against Workington |
Hull KR coach Justin Morgan will hand his youngsters the chance to impress in the Challenge Cup Fourth round game against Workington on Sunday. Morgan plans to give a debut to 17-year-old Liam Watts, a close season signing from Dewsbury. Watts told BBC Radio Humberside he is excited at the prospect of starting: "I hope I can show Justin Morgan what I can do, it's a big chance for me. "I've put my head down and tried to learn since I've come here." Robins coach Morgan will sit out several first team players for the match at Derwent Park, he said: "We're going to leave Mick Vella out and Clint Newton is not going to play and Ben Galea won't either so those three definitely won't be playing." Morgan's decision to rest his experienced players means that some the clubs' youngsters will get the chance to impress the Craven Park coaching staff. Morgan added: "That means Kris Welham and Chez I'Anson are going to get a run out and Liam's going to get his first game for the club which is a big pat on the back for the 17-year-old. Whatever happens, we'll send out a good side."
