Stanley Gene will play against Harlequins after completing his second ban of the season |
Hull KR coach Justin Morgan says he is confident that Stanley Gene can put his disciplinary problems behind him. The Papua New Guinea international has already been suspended twice this season for high tackles. Morgan told BBC Radio Humberside: "We've been asking him to play a different role this season and you have to have different tackle selections. "Hopefully he can go out there this week and show us what he can do now we've worked on his technique." The 34-year-old has been before the Rugby Football League on three occasions this season and has twice been handed one-game suspensions. Morgan will hand the back-row forward a freer role when he takes his side to the Stoop on Saturday to play in-form Harlequins. He added: "Stan's at his best when he relaxes and plays the best way that he knows. "He's looking forward to the weekend and has been adapting and we've worked hard with him on his tackling."
