Kirk Yeaman (centre) signed a new deal with Hull FC in April |
Hull FC centre Kirk Yeaman is expected to be fit for the start of the new season after returning to full-time training following a groin operation. The 27-year-old, who had to pull of out England's Four Nations squad with a foot injury, has taken the opportunity to fix his long-standing groin problem. "I'm feeling a bit sore but it's going well," he told BBC Humberside. "I'm back with the full squad and I'm taking things a little bit carefully. I'm itching to get out there and play." He added: "If it had just been my groin I would have been able to put up with that and played and had it done later. "But I damaged a muscle in my foot and the club physio decided that it was a good time to fix my groin up."
