Calderwood has been sidelined with a hamstring injury |
Hull FC are set to welcome back winger Mark Calderwood for Saturday's Super League game at Wakefield. The 28-year-old has made just three appearances for the Black and Whites this season after struggling with hamstring problems. "It's good to get him back," FC coach Richard Agar told BBC Radio Humberside. "We're a little bit skinny on troops at the moment so to get a player of Calderwood's quality back in the fold will be good for us." He added: "Hopefully he'll be pushing for selection from here on in." Agar also confirmed that stand-off Richard Horne could be in with a chance of returning for Saturday's away clash. The 27-year-old has been struggling with knee problems, which have kept him out of the side since May. Agar added: "It's a day-by-day thing with Rich - he's getting closer and we're not going to take any risks with him. "But fingers crossed, it would be nice to see Richard taking his place in the 19 with a bit of luck."
