Long had to be replaced half-way through the first half on Monday

Hull FC captain Sean Long is waiting for news on the ankle injury that he suffered against Warrington on Monday.

The 33-year-old limped off in the first half of the 29-10 defeat and is a major doubt for Sunday's clash with Super League champions Leeds Rhinos.

He told the club website: "I had a scan on Tuesday to have an initial look at the injury and we will monitor it over the next few days.

"We'll have a look it at this week and see how it goes."
